Become a Member of Danish American Center
While many of our members have direct links to Denmark, we also have members with little or no connection at all. Some of our more active members were born in Denmark and are fluent Danish speakers. Others were born and raised in Danish communities in the United States so have learned the Danish language, traditions, customs and foods from childhood. Others have roots with Danish immigrant ancestors and are learning the customs. And, others have little or no Danish heritage but love the fellowship of the organization. All are welcome.
Membership benefits
- Helps to support the presence of Danish culture and history in our Twin Cities community.
- You will receive our monthly Newsletter with updates on events and other member activities.
- You can attend member events with your guests.
- Members can arrange rental of sleeping rooms in the building.
- Members can rent meeting spaces for parties, retreats, family reunions, and other social activities.
- You will be able to vote at the Annual Meeting, serve on the Board and various committees. We are an organization that functions through dedicated volunteers at work.
Cost of annual membership
- $35 for seniors (one individual age 65+)
- $65 for senior household (two individuals age 65+)
- $35 for students
- $45 for individuals
- $75 for a household membership.
